Kamiakin band opens registration

Fifth grade students bound for Kamiakin Junior High School can sign up for beginning band Sept. 18. Registration will run 8:15 to 9 a.m. in the band room at Kamiakin, 14111 132nd Ave. N.E., Kirkland. The band is open to all fifth-graders who attend Frost, Keller, Muir and Franklin elementary schools, as well as to homeschoolers and Kamiakin-bound “Quest” students.
