The Cascade Bicycle Club would like to invite the community to the first Kirkland Policy Ride next Friday.

During the ride, Cascade Bicycle Club, Mayor Amy Walen and Kirkland City Council members will discuss potential neighborhood greenways, bike lanes, bike overpasses and the Cross Kirkland Corridor. Citizens will also learn about bicycling in Kirkland and how to get more involved.

The ride will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 and will begin at Kirkland City Hall, located at 123 Fifth Ave. in Kirkland.

RSVP by registering for the event.
