June 29, 2008 · Updated 4:21 PM
Three Kirkland siblings are now featuring in a Broadway-inspired traveling musical currently showing in Issaquah and soon to move to Everett.
Trent Saunders, along with twin sisters Claire and Alanna, are featuring in a Village Theatre production of Aida, an Elton John and Tim Rice adaptation that tells the story of “an enslaved Nubian princess. A privileged daughter of an Egyptian Pharaoh. The soldier they both love. And a love triangle that could alter history forever.”
Trent plays the role of Mereb, while Claire and Alanna are both part of the Nubian ensemble.
AIDA will show in Issaquah at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre until July 6 before moving to Everett for performances from July 11-27 at the Everett Performing Arts Center.
