Paul Eldenburg, right, and his son Tony Eldenburg were two of many volunteers who showed up at Hopelink in Kirkland to help sort through non-perishable food donations during the National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive May 10. Hopelink collected approximately 48,000 pounds of food during the drive, up from 37,000 pounds last year. That should be enough to last Hopelink until the holidays, Kirkland site manager Jessica Ivey said.
