Kirkland student receives WSU fellowship

Mikko McFeely was awarded a $1,000 Auvil Undergraduate Scholars Fellowship from the University College at Washington State University. The award is given to students across all majors, who are pursuing undergraduate research at WSU.

McFeely graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2009. He plans to graduate from WSU with a degree in digital technology and culture, and a minor in sustainable development in 2013. He is a member of the president’s student advisory board and a WSU Distinguished Regents Scholar. He is also the vice president of Honors Student Advisory Council.

McFeely is the son of Eeva and Jeff McFeely of Kirkland.
