Green Kirkland Partnership to host restoration event Saturday

Join Green Kirkland Partnership to enjoy and enhance important green space.

EarthCorps crew members and Green Kirkland Stewards will be leading activities to remove harmful invasive plants, spread wood chip mulch, and plant native plants from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 13 at Juanita Bay Park, 2201 Market St.

Suitable for: adults, teens, and families. Youth 14 to 17 years must either be accompanied by an adult, bring a signed waiver form, or bring a parent/guardian to sign you in. Youth waiver forms can be obtained in advance from www.greenkirkland.org or www.earthcorps.org.

EarthCorps and Kirkland Parks will provide tools, gloves, water, coffee, and light refreshments.
