Kang dance team hosts fundraiser in Kirkland
August 9, 2012 · Updated 3:32 PM
The Lake Washington High School Kangs will host nine dance teams from across Washington State to raise money for Drea’s Dream on at 7 p.m. on Aug. 24. This is a fundraiser with a big heart to help children with cancer and special needs through the power of dance.
“It is an honor and a privilege to support the Andréa Rizzo Foundation,” says Lindsey Beck, head coach of the LWHS Drill team. “We want to bring smiles to the faces of fragile children and added joy to their hearts. We are proud and excited to make Dréa’s Dreams Come True through this important fundraiser.”
The Lake Washington High School Drill team will be dancing on the Lake Washington football field hosted by emerald city productions, eating burgers by Buns and satisfying their sweet tooth with ice cream sandwiches from Sweet Wheels!
A minimum donation of $5 is required for admission, with burgers and ice cream extra.
