The Kirkland City Council recognized the Kirkland Youth Council, as well as the two recipients of the Eileen Trentman Memorial Scholarship, during its May 30 meeting.
The scholarship recipients were Allison Blair of International Community School and Evan Ellesfen, Juanita High School.
