Juanita High School PTSA received the Standards of Excellence Award, Silver Level, from the Washington State PTA during its 99th Convention, May 4-6 at the Doubletree Hotel in SeaTac.

Juanita High School PTSA received the Standards of Excellence Award, Silver Level, from the Washington State PTA during its 99th Convention, May 4-6  at the Doubletree Hotel in SeaTac.

Juanita High School PTSA was evaluated on the best practices of PTA management, including child-focused activities, responsiveness to membership, fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities, and ongoing leader involvement and training at the regional and state levels.

Most recently, JHS-PTSA provided snacks for the volunteers at Rebel Pride Campus Clean-Up Day on May 12, hosted a Tea/Coffee Evening on May 9 for incoming parents with Juanita High School Principal Gary Moed and Associate Principal Gloria Heier, and served lunch and treats to the staff during Staff Appreciation Week May 7-11.

PTA promotes the health, safety and education of all children at home, at school and in the community. Juanita High School PTSA was originally incorporated in 1979. It is a non-profit corporation, and accepts donations year round to support its many programs. Contact JHSPTSA@yahoo.com
