The Kirkland community donated hundreds of toys during a toy drive at Hector's on Dec. 6.

The event was held at the request of Caleb Thorsteinson, age 4, who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 1.

The toys will benefit kids hospitalized at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, where he received chemotherapy treatments for several years.
