KDOG (Kirkland Off Leash Dog Group) is holding a meeting from 7-8:30 p.m. Feb. 10 to welcome the public to help out in designing and building Kirkland’s first fenced dog park as approved by the Kirkland City Council last November. KDOG is forming committees to nail down the decisions for park operations, communications, fund raising and events. So far, the group has raised more than $11,000 and is working with several local companies that would like to help sponsor aspects of the park. The dog park is set to open this fall. The meeting will be held at Northlake Unitarian Church, 308 Fourth Ave. South.
