Kirkland Kiwanis kicks off drive

Kirkland Kiwanis is sponsoring a donation drive for Eastside Baby Corner through Nov. 1. Clean out your closets and drop off new or gently used donations at Fox Cleaners, 339 Kirkland Ave., Kirkland.

Eastside Baby Corner is currently in need of long pants for boys and girls (sizes 3-8); sweat pants and sweat shirts (ages 3-10); tennis shoes for kids in all sizes; socks and underwear for boys and girls (sizes 4-14); warm coats, gloves and mittens (sizes 3-14); pram suits and infant sweaters; blanket sleepers (sizes 3-6 and 6-9 months); formula (powdered Similac, Isomil and Goodstart (milk base only); Avent, Dr. Brown and Playtex nipples, size 1, and bottle liners; and cash donations. Eastside Baby Corner, an Issaquah-based non-profit organization, makes a positive difference in the lives of children and families in need by collecting and purchasing children’s items and distributing them, free of charge, through local service care providers.
