PJ Glassey has announced the opening of his new X Gym headquarters at the South Kirkland Park n’ Ride near the 405 – 520 interchange. The new Eastside X Gym marks a major improvement in space and parking compared to the previous location in the heart of downtown Kirkland.

“Difficulty in traffic and finding parking increased dramatically over the last two years,” Glassey said. “It became a big problem for our customers.” The new facility has a parking garage on-site and is more centrally located; five minutes from downtown Bellevue, Kirkland center, Totem Lake and Bridal Trails and seven minutes from the UW Campus and Redmond.”

X Gym is celebrating their new digs with an open house from 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 14 when Glassey will explain one of his brain training techniques that helps people break the diet yo-yo cycle. Glassey will share his recipes and guests will feast on fat burning food.

“I have developed recipes over the last 20 years to boost metabolism and the body’s ability to burn fat,” Glassey said. “This is not your average diet fare, we’ll have my reinvented Fat-Burning Chocolate Cake, doughnuts, Fitness Chocolate, mousse and more.”

Savory selections will also be presented such as Cheddar Muffins, Turkey Sliders, Bison Chili and others. Guests will also receive a $100 gift card.

According to Glassey, his fitness system is scientifically proven to produce two-to-three times the results of traditional exercising in less than one fourth the time. He says it takes only 21 minutes twice per week to markedly improve muscle tone and reduce fat.

“Results are proven based upon studies I have researched, conducted and tested since 1988,” Glassey said. “I  continually upgrade my system as scientific advancements are vetted.”

Glassey and his trainers will demonstrate his proprietary protocols including a series of exercises that emphasize different muscle fiber types and energy systems for complete fitness while eliminating plateaus.

“Muscles are resistant to change unless styles vary with exercises,” Glassey said. “That’s why our group training is carefully designed with controlled repetitions and a mix of isometric, endurance and strength components.”

Glassey has another X Gym at Alki in West Seattle and has plans to add a third location and mobile units PJ Glassey is author of “Cracking Your Calorie Code” and a new book series including PJ’s Chocolate Revolution is scheduled to be published early next year. He is also a top 10 U.S. tower runner and a private pilot.
