Kirkland-based McAdams Remodeling and Design was recently awarded a Remodeling Excellence (REX Awards) award along with nine other remodelers by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish County at the REX Awards dinner held in Seattle.

The REX Awards evaluate area remodeler’s projects in nine categories. McAdams Remodeling and Design’s winning project, a Kirkland Tuscan-style space, won in the $75,000-$100,000 kitchen remodeling category. Each submission was judged on six criteria: the aesthetics of the remodel, quality of the workmanship, unique design solutions, building materials used, budgetary considerations and project obstacles. Entries were judged by industry professionals from various fields of expertise.

“It’s very validating to receive recognition for our hard work. We really enjoyed designing the space with these clients and to win an award on the finished product is icing on the cake,” said Sales Manager, Mark Jensen. “We’re celebrating 40 years of business in 2014, and it’s relationships with clients like these that have allowed us to be successful.”
