AAA recently recognized two Kirkland hotels with a respected AAA Four Diamond Rating award, joining the list of only 29 lodgings and eight restaurants across Washington and northern Idaho to make the list of AAA Four Diamond establishments in 2013.
The Heathman Hotel celebrates its fifth year as a AAA Four Diamond, while the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa made the list for the 23rd consecutive year.
“To achieve and maintain a high level of hospitality in today’s competitive marketplace is a significant achievement,” said Jennifer Cook, senior manager of corporate communications, AAA Washington. “We are proud to recognize top industry leaders and celebrate their long-standing commitment to provide quality service and a memorable experience for guests.”
Tulalip Bay, restaurant at the Tulalip Resort Casino in Marysville, is the only new establishment to be added to the list of AAA Four Diamond properties in Washington state in 2013. The Herbfarm Restaurant, located in Woodinville, earned a coveted AAA Five Diamond Rating for the 11th consecutive year, the only establishment in the Pacific Northwest to earn a Five Diamond Rating in 2013.
AAA/CAA Four and Five Diamond Rated hotels and restaurants offer guests personalized attention, refined amenities and luxurious settings. They represent only 3.9 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, of the total 59,000 AAA/CAA Approved and Diamond Rated hotels and restaurants throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
AAA inspectors conduct physical, on-site evaluations to identify emerging trends in the hospitality industry and observe the use of increasingly personalized approaches to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction. Lodgings and restaurants can earn One to Five AAA Diamonds.
